Instructions

    • 1

Look at your PC's available video output ports. These would likely be on the back of your PC. Look for an HDMI, S-Video, DVI or RCA ports, because having one of these indicates that you may send your online TV signal to a TV set with video input ports.

    • 2

Look at your TV set's available video input ports. These will be marked with "Video In," "Input" or the name of the port type, such as "S-Video." Look for a video input port compatible with your PC's video output. Seek an HDMI connection first because it provides the best audio and video quality through one cable. You may use an S-Video-to-RCA cable if you only have one of each port on your PC and TV.

    • 3

Turn off your PC and TV set.

    • 4

Insert one end of the cable corresponding to your established compatible video input and output ports into the PC's video output port.

    • 5

Insert the other end of the cable into the TV's video input port.

    • 6

Use an additional RCA cable if you are using a video connection other than HDMI. Insert the cable's red and white plugs into the color-coded jacks on the PC soundcard's "Line Out" and TV set's input ports. Alternatively, you may insert the TRS end of a TRS-to-RCA cable into your computer's headphone or TRS "Line Out" port and insert connect the color-coded red and white RCA ports into the TV's input port.

    • 7

      Turn on the TV set.

    • 8

Turn on the PC. Doing so allows the PC to recognize the TV as a primary video output source, if necessary.

    • 9

Set your TV to the mode associated with the input port to which you have connected the PC, such as "Input," "Aux" or "Video In." Doing so displays the PC's on-screen content on your TV set.

    • 10

Play your online TV content from your PC. You will be able to view the online TV content from your TV set.
