With technology advancing at such a fast clip, many people are creating their own movie and audio files, which they want to share with people around the world. Many of these files are so large that a normal email server will accommodate them. Enter large file-sending services. Some of these services are free, while others require a subscription. The services allow users to send files up to 2 gigabytes and more.

Instructions

1. Go to a large file-sending website. Depending on the frequency with which you will be sending files and their overall size, you may choose different subscription plans or just use their free service. Some of these sites do not require registration.

2. Enter the recipient's email address and your own email address in the spaces provided.

3. Type a note to the recipient. The email forms on large file transfer sites look similar to those of popular, standard email services.

4. Attach your large file. Use the "browse" and attach buttons.

5. Click "Send." After you click send, your file is uploaded to a server. The file stays in the server until the recipient decides to download the file, at which point it is transferred to the recipient's computer.
