Uploading a playlist to your iPod only takes a few minutes.

One of the exciting things about iTunes is that it allows users to create playlists from songs in their Music Library. Once the listener has a playlist they like, they can even upload it to their iPod, iPhone, or iPad devices. Uploading a playlist only takes a few minutes to download the songs to your device and place them in a predetermined list created by you.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open your iTunes software.

    • 2

Connect your iPod to your computer with your USB connector cord, and, if it's not already, turn on your iPod. Once connected, the device should show up in iTunes under the "Devices" tab on the left side of the screen.

    • 3

Click on your iPod. The device will be listed as whatever named you assigned to it when you connected it for the first time.

    • 4

Click on the "Music" tab at the top of the screen. A window with two options should appear: "Entire music library" or "Selected playlists, artists, and genres."

    • 5

Choose which option, "Entire music library" or "Selected playlists, artists, and genres," you prefer. "Entire music library" will put all your music, including all your playlists on your iPod device. "Selected playlists, artists, and genres" will require you to choose which playlists and genres you would like to add to the device.

    • 6

Choose to include your playlist if you chose "Selected playlists, artists, and genres."

    • 7

Sync your device by clicking "Sync" at the bottom right of the screen.
