How to Replace a Keyboard on a Gateway 7330

The Gateway 7330 is a laptop computer designed and distributed by Gateway. The keyboard is the unit that allows you to interface with your Gateway laptop. If the keyboard on your Gateway 7330 is broken, you will need to replace it to restore your laptop to full functionality. Replacing the keyboard on a Gateway 7330 will require a screwdriver and a new compatible laptop keyboard. Replacing the keyboard on a Gateway 7330 will take about 15 minutes.

Things You'll Need

• New keyboard
• Phillips-head screwdriver

Instructions

1. Remove the power cord and battery from your Gateway 7330.

2. Remove your Gateway laptop's bezel, located directly above the keyboard.

3. Remove the two screws that secure the keyboard to your Gateway 7330. They will be located at the top of the keyboard.

4. Gently lift your old keyboard away from your laptop, then disconnect the data cable.

5. Connect the data cable of your new keyboard, then place it in your laptop.

6. Replace the screws at the top of your keyboard then replace the bezel to complete the operation.
