How do I Block Skype in a Windows ISA 2000 Server?
Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) servers provide Microsoft network administrators with the ability to control Internet usage. The network administrator can block websites, applications and even restrict the time a user can access the Internet. Skype is a chat and messaging software that you may want to block for users on the network. When you block Skype on the ISA 2000 server, users are unable to connect from the installed software.

Tips & Warnings
It takes several hours for the configurations to populate across a large network. The new firewall settings take effect the next time the user attempts to connect to the ISA 2000 server, but other users won't see the update for several hours after you change the configurations.
