How to Remove the Front Panel on a PC Case

Removing the front panel on a PC Case is a job that can be done in about 15 minutes or less. The front panel of the PC Case is part of a one-piece cover that slides over the front as well as over the top and sides of the case. The cover can be removed by taking off just a few parts of the PC. You can remove the cover yourself, saving you the time and money of having someone else do it for you.

Instructions

1. Unplug the power cord of the PC case from the electrical outlet before attempting to remove the front panel.

2. Remove the plugs from the back of the PC case, making a note of where they were attached so you can put them back on easily.

3. Take everything off the top of the computer case before removing the cover. Unfasten the screws in the back of the PC case with a screwdriver.

4. Slide the cover forward to take it off the PC case, setting the cover with the front panel out of the way.

• Always unplug the power cord of the computer from the electrical outlet before removing the front panel.
