How to Install an HP 6940 Wireless Printer
The HP Deskjet 6940 printer is not a wireless printer. It uses Ethernet and USB cables to physically connect to your computer and send information between the two machines. However, by connecting the HP 6940 to your wireless router via Ethernet cable, you can enable the machine to print wirelessly. By enabling the wireless printing option, you can use the HP 6940 from any location within range of the wireless router.
