How to Locate Books Purchased on a Kindle

A Kindle is an electronic reader for books, magazines, newspapers and games. Kindle users download items from Amazon directly to their Kindle device using the Wi-Fi feature or through the Amazon website. Users can locate and keep track of their orders on the website or through the Kindle device. They can log in to their Amazon accounts to resend books, download them onto the computer or phone, or delete them from the online library.
Step 1
Go to Amazon.com. Click the "Sign In" link in the upper-left corner to log in to your Amazon account. Click the "Your Account" link on the upper-right side of the screen on your home page.
Step 2
Choose "Manage your Kindle" in the fourth section titled "Digital Content."
Step 3
Click "Books" on the left menu bar under "Your Kindle Library." Read through the list of books you have purchased. Each title has an "Actions" button where you can choose to "Read now," "Deliver to...," "Download & transfer via USB" or "Delete from library."
