How to Add Music on a CD Slide Picture Show
Music that is stored as an audio file on a computer can be added to a picture slide show to enhance the watcher's experience. A picture slide show can be created on a CD or DVD disc using Windows Media Center that comes with Windows Vista and Windows 7. This will allow you to add various picture files and audio files that you are then able to burn as a CD/DVD slide show.

Double-click on the icon for the Windows Media Center. Place a blank CD or DVD disk into the drive on the computer.

Click the "Burn a CD or DVD" option on the screen. Alternatively, you can click on "Start" and then go to the "Tasks" selection. Click the "Burn CD/DVD" option.

Go to the "Select Disc Format" screen. Select the "CD or DVD Slide Show" option and then click the "Next" button to continue. Type in a name for the slide show and then click the "Next" button.

Go to the "Select Media" screen and click the "Music Library" option. Click the "Next" button to continue. Select the music to use on the "Music Selection" screen. Click the "Next" button to continue.

Click the "Add More" option on the "Review and Edit List" screen. Select the "Picture Library" option on the "Select Media" screen. Find the location of the pictures to use for the slide show. Click on each picture that you want to use. Click the "Next" button to continue.

Click on the "Burn CD" or "Burn DVD" options from the "Review and Edit" list. Click "Yes" when the "Initiating Copy" message appears to begin the process.

Click "Done" on the "Completing Disc Creation" screen or window to complete the creation of the slide show.

Tips & Warnings
If there is an error when burning to the disc, the CD or DVD disc may be bad and will need to be discarded.
