How to Get Rid of an AV360 Virus
According to ChannelWeb, consumers spend billions annually combating viruses and other malware. The AV360 is a type of virus known as trojan scareware. Trojans pretend to be legitimate software to promote installation. Scareware trojans imitate anti-virus or anti-spyware software. Once installed, the AV360 virus produces false virus alets and advertises fake commercial anti-virus software. The intent of the hackers is for the user to send personal and financial information to them for the removal software. The AV360 virus is removed with malware-removal software.

Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool

Click on the "Start" button, select "All Programs" and then "Windows Update." Follow the on-screen directions to scan the computer for necessary Windows Updates.

Follow the on-screen directions to download and install the updates. Close Internet Explorer.

Click on the "Start" button and select "All Programs," then "Accessories" and "Run." Type MRT in the box that appears and press the "Enter" key.

Press "Next" in the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool window that appears. Select "Full Scan" and then press the "Next" button.

Allow the software to scan the computer for the AV360 virus and other threats. The scan takes several minutes to hours depending on the number and size of drives connected to the computer.

Press the "Finish" button to close the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Open an Internet browser. Navigate to the Malwarebytes website using the link in Resources. Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and make a note of the download location.

Navigate to the folder containing the downloaded file. Double-click on the file to start the installation process.

Follow the on-screen directions to install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Make a note of the installation folder.

Navigate to the installation folder. Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Follow the on-screen directions to update the software to the latest version. Updating the software allows it to detect the most recent threats.

Follow the on-screen directions to do a full system scan. The scan compares all files on your storage drives with known viruses and malware.

Allow the scan to finish. Follow the on-screen directions to remove the AV360 virus and other detected malware. Close Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
SmitFraudFix

Open an Internet browser. Navigate to the Bleeping Computer website and download SmitFraudFix using the link in Resources. Make a note of the download location.

Restart the computer. Press the "F8" button when the Windows Splash screen first appears.

Select "Safe Mode with Networking" from the boot menu that appears. Allow Windows to boot into safe mode.

Navigate to the folder containing SmitFraudFix. Launch SmitFraudFix.

Follow the on-screen directions to do a full system scan. Allow the scan to complete. Interrupting the program during the scanning process may damage system files.

Follow the on-screen directions to remove the AV360 virus and other detected malware. Close SmitFraudFix and restart the computer.
