How to Format BMP to JPG
A bitmap (BMP) image is a large file that is not compatible with Web browsers. For this reason, conversion from BMP format to JPG is preferred when distributing your images in email or on the Internet. You can convert your images without purchasing any third-party software. The Windows operating system comes with a Paint program that converts a BMP file to a JPG format.
