How to Set Up Logitech Mouse Button Profiles
Certain Logitech mice support button profiles, which identify different tasks for the mouse buttons depending on the profile settings and selections. With Logitech's Setpoint software and a compatible mouse, you can specify different button profiles to work with your applications for maximum usability. Button profiles are useful for gamers, graphic designers or anyone with the need to have the special Logitech mouse buttons perform different tasks according to the activity performed. After a mouse button profile is set up it is saved on the Mouse's on-board memory so the mouse profiles travel with the mouse.
