How to Hide the Start Menu

The Microsoft Windows Start Menu is your portal to the Internet, your programs and your files and documents. It allows you to navigate to your favorite programs with the click of a button. Contained within the Task Bar, the Start Menu can be easily hidden, in order to hide your personal data or to increase the usable screen space on your computer. It can be restored just as quickly, if you decide this option is not for you.
