How to Refill Samsung ML-2010
Samsung ML-2010 is a laser printer so it uses toner, and not ink in cartridges. Toner is a dried form of ink, which makes the refilling procedure slightly simpler. Once you refill the cartridge with toner, you will be able to print about 3,000 pages before having to refill it again.
Things You'll Need
- Toner bottle
- Phillips screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Needle nose pliers

1
Reveal the Samsung ML-2010 cartridge's sealing plug by unscrewing it from the sides with a Phillips screwdriver. Once the sealing plug starts to show, slightly loosen the plug using the flathead screwdriver.
-
2
Pull out the plug completely from the cartridge with the needle nose pliers. Be gentle, but at the same time, forceful. Pulling the plug out completely will expose the toner compartment of the cartridge. If you accidentally bend or crack the plug, you can use duct tape or electrical tape to secure it back in place.

3
Throw out the leftover toner inside the cartridge. If you mix two different brands of toner, the result could be discolored prints.
-
4
Turn the toner bottle upside down and gently tap it against a solid surface, such as a table. This is important to loosen the toner lumps inside the bottle.
-
5
Remove the toner bottle's cap and unseal it. Then, secure a funnel cap on the bottle's mouth. Ensure it's attached tightly.
-
6
Insert the funnel cap into the filling hole of the cartridge (which you exposed after pulling out the plug). Let the toner flow into the cartridge. When it's full, remove the toner bottle from the cartridge and put the cap back on.
-
7
Examine the plug for cracks or bends. If you find any, put duct or electrical tape on them.
-
8
Insert the plug back into the cartridge's fill hole, like it previously had been. Install the cartridge back into the printer.
