WWW refers to world wide web and is part of many toolbars seen on a browser.

My web search is a program that comes with free games and other downloadable products that are free of charge. It is a search assistant that is used to help people find items they want when searching the Internet. For many people, though, the my web search toolbar takes up screen space that can be used to view websites. By either hiding or removing the toolbar you can avoid having the same problem.

Instructions

      Right click on your Internet browser toolbar area. Any toolbar with some blank space will do.

      Uncheck the My Web Search Toolbar. When you first see it, it will have a check next to it, by selecting it again you uncheck it.

      Remove my web search from your computer to completely rid yourself of seeing the toolbar again. This is done through the Control Panel of your computer.

      Click on the "Start" button. Visit "Control Panel." Select "Programs and Features."

      Select all "My Web" products one at a time and uninstall them.
