How to Install an HP F340 Printer Without the Disk

Open your Internet browser to the "HP Support & Drivers" website.

Click the "Download Drivers and Software (Firmware)" radio button on the HP Support & Drivers page to indicate the executable file you wish to download for the HP F340.

Type "HP F340" in the product search field below the radio button options. Then click the double-arrow icon to the right of the search field. The website will redirect you to the to the HP F340's support page.

Click the drop-down bar on the HP F340 support page, and select your computer's operating system. Click "Next" to view all available downloads for the operating system you provided.

Click the plus sign icon next to the "Driver" option on the HP F340's download page. Double-click the link to the HP F340's executable file to begin downloading the printer's software driver.

Run the HP F340 executable setup file once the download box appears. The executable file will open to the HP hardware installer wizard's welcome screen.

If your operating system is not available, there are no software drivers to support your system. Therefore, the HP F340 may not be compatible with your computer.
