How to Test Dial-Up Speed
In today's technological world, many different options are available for connecting to the Web. High speed DSL, wireless, and dial-up are three popular Internet delivery methods. Dial-up was one of the earliest methods of connecting to the Internet, with the first US based dial-up service provider opening in 1989. Although speed and performance of dial-up connections pales in comparison to more modern methods, it remains a popular Internet service option. If you wish to test the connection speed of a dial-up connection, you may do so by following a few easy steps.
