How to Shoot a BB Out of a Pellet Gun
A pellet gun uses compressed air to shoot the pellet out of the barrel. You can adapt a pellet gun to shoot BBs without voiding any warranty on the pellet gun or having to disassemble it. A few household items are needed, along with BBs purchased from a hobby store. The pellet gun can be returned to its normal state if desired later on.

1
Remove the magazine clip from the bottom of the pellet gun's handle--some pellet guns will require pressing down on a release latch on the side in order to remove the magazine clip. Empty the pellets from the magazine clip. You should place a soft cloth beneath the gun if you're doing this on a table.
-
2
Pull back on the sliding plate at the top of the pellet gun to cock the hammer and reveal the firing chamber. Inspect the firing chamber to ensure that there is no pellet inside. Release the sliding plate. Press the trigger to release the hammer.

3
Place the pellet gun on the soft cloth with the barrel facing to the right.
-
4
Cut a 3-inch piece off the plastic drinking straw with the scissors.
-
5
Insert one end of the 3-inch piece of plastic drinking straw into the tip of the barrel of the pellet gun. Wrap strips of duct tape around the end of the plastic drinking straw to secure it to the barrel.
-
6
Insert the magazine clip back into the bottom of the pellet gun.
-
7
Outside, wedge a BB into the open end of the plastic drinking straw. Cock the pellet gun by pulling back on the sliding plate at the top.
-
8
Aim your pellet gun at a bush or other object that can absorb the BB when shot, instead of ricocheting it back at you. Depress the trigger to fire the BB.
