Private domain registration hides the domain registrant's information by using a privacy company's address and telephone number instead of the registrant's. Otherwise, a domain registrant's information can be looked up using a Whois service. Registering a domain privately prevents spam and identity theft. In the search box, enter the domain name you would like to register and click "Go" to begin the checkout process. The domain will be registered privately for a fee of $8.99 per year, as of July 2010.
