How to Track Royal Airmail Packages
Track and Trace is the Royal Mail's mail-tracking system. It helps ensure that packages sent through the United Kingdom's Royal Mail arrive on time and end up in the right hands. Airmail packages can be traced just as mail sent through ground post. They can be tracked by both the sender and the recipient using a 13-character code printed on the package label. This code is the key to knowing where your package is during its journey to the recipient.

Buy either "Airsure" or" International Signed-For" to ensure that your package is mailed using a Track and Trace airmail service. These are the two airmail services that can be tracked for overseas mailings.

Locate the 13-character tracking code on the piece of mail's label. Write this tracking number down before you mail the package for your own future reference as well as to provide to the recipient. The tracking code is usually located at the bottom of the mailing label.

Visit the Royal Mail's Track and Trace website. Enter the code into the search box. Click "Track Item." In most cases, you can also see who signed for a package when you track the package.

Call 08457 950 950, or Textfone 08456 000 606, if you are a business customer. You can also send Royal Mail an email from the Get in Touch page of the Contact Us section in the Royal Mail website.
