2. Sign up for an online account with the website building service of your choice. Read the terms and conditions carefully.

3. Choose a free template. A template is a pre-designed framework into which you will add your own content.

4. Use the free website builder to customize your template. You will be able to upload photos and add text, and more features may be available depending on the service you use.

5. Publish the site according to the website builder's instructions.

6. Give your website's URL to your friends and family so they will be able to find it.
