How to Rip DVD Tracks

How to Rip DVD Tracks thumbnail
DVD files contain multiple individual video files.

You can find many different programs for ripping DVDs online. Most of these programs were created for disc backup, and rip the DVDs as one large image file called an ISO. The ISO file contains all of the video files on the disc, as well as the data files that make the disc operate, and can be viewed on the computer only through a DVD player program. If you want to make the DVD files more compatible with standard computer-based players and editors, you can rip the DVD tracks as separate digital video files instead.
