How to Save a YouTube HD Video
Saving a YouTube High Definition, or HD, video is easy. YouTube is user-friendly enough that the steps are simple and east to access. Viewing a video in HD on YouTube strengthens the quality of the picture considerably. You will notice a difference in the sharpness of the lines and colors in the video versus a video of standard quality. To save a YouTube HD video you will need an account with YouTube. It is simple to create a YouTube account if you do not already have one.

Sign into your YouTube account. Sign up for a YouTube account if you do not already have one. An easy way to do this is through your already established Google account. If you do not have a Google account, you may sign up using your email address and creating a password.

Find a HD video on Youtube you want to save. Look underneath the video until you see the row of options: "Like" with a thumbs up, a thumbs down, "Save To," "Share," and "<Embed>," and a flag. Click "Save to," which will present a drop down menu. Choose "Favorites," "Queue" or "Create a New Playlist," depending on your preference. Save to "Favorites" to view the video again and have the video public on your profile. Save to "Queue" if you would like to view the video later but would not like to make it public. Save to "Create Playlist" if you would like save more than one video as a group together.
