How to Send Emails With Each Person Seeing the Email Address

How to Send Emails With Each Person Seeing the Email Address thumbnail
Use the "Cc" field to email multiple recipients and have them all see each other's email address.

To send an email message to multiple recipients and have each person be able to see all the other email addresses to whom the message was sent, simply use the "To" or "Cc" fields. Instead of entering all the addresses into the "To" field, email etiquette recommends entering only a single address into the "To" field and entering the rest of the addresses into the "Carbon copy" or "Blind carbon copy" fields.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter a single email address into the "To" field. This can be your own email address or another email address that you control.

    • 2

Enter all of the recipients' email addresses into the "Cc" field. This will send a carbon copy of the message to all the addresses listed. The recipients will each be able to see all the email addresses to which the message was sent.

    • 3

Enter the message subject in the "Subject" field. Then enter the email message into the "Message" field, just like any standard email message.

    • 4

Click the "Send" button to send the email to all the addresses listed in both the "To" field and the "Cc" field.

Tips & Warnings

  • The "Bcc" or "Blind carbon copy" field is used to hide the email addresses so the recipients cannot see each other's email address.
