How to Find Email Information
Email information includes details about the sender, the time and date the email was sent and the IP address for the Internet Service Provider that the sender used to access the Internet and send the message. Finding email information will allow you to know as much as possible about the sender of the message.

Open the email in question.

Click "Expand," "Show more," "Sender information," "From" or "More" to see the information listed after the "To" and "From" sections on an email.

Scroll through the information. You will be able to see the date the email was sent, the date it arrived and was stored, as well as the date it was opened. Read on to discover information about what time the email was sent. You will also be able to find the server that sent the email. Also listed will be the IP address of the sender.

Plug the IP address of the sender into a reverse IP address finder. The results you get will include information about the Internet Server Provider that provides the connection the sender used.
