How to Find the Mileage Rate for Tax Returns
Tax returns that are filed each year contain many types of deductions. If you travel for work or use the home office deduction on your tax return, miles driven for work can be deducted on the return. This is done by using the current mileage rate that has been set by the IRS. You can find the mileage rate used for 2009 and 2010 tax returns online at various websites.
