In order to accomplish this task, your computer must have an SD input, a thin slot usually located somewhere on the front or sides of your computer.

    • Computer with an SD input

        Insert your SD card in slot on your computer labeled "SD." Wait for a pop-up window to appear. This should only take a few seconds.

        Choose "Open Folder to View Files" from the pop-up window. If the pop-up window does not appear, open your "Start" menu, click the "Computer" tab and open the SD card from the list of drives.

        Open the folder containing the song files that you want to send to your SD card. Music files can be stored in any folder, but they are often stored in a folder named "Music" or "My Music."

        Right-click the song, playlist or album that you want to send to you SD card. Choose "Copy" from the pop-up window that appears.

        Find the window representing your SD card. Right-click a blank space inside that window and choose "Paste." This will send the music from your computer to your SD card.

    • Make sure all of your music has been copied before you remove your SD card.

    • Be careful when removing your SD card, as it doesn't just pull out. You have to push softly to eject the SD card.
