      Insert a writeable DVD-R into the Mac's optical disc drive and a disc folder will appear on the desktop.

      Double-click on the disc icon to open a Finder window associated with the disc. Drag the files and folders you want to burn to the DVD into the disc folder. Finder will create a copy of the file in the disc window.

      Click on the "File" menu and choose "Burn Disc" to start the burn once you have added all the files you want to burn into the disc folder. Alternatively, you can click on the "Burn" button next to the disc name in the Finder sidebar to start the burn.Once the burn process is complete the disc will be ejected from the Mac's disc drive.
