How to Become a Christian Life Coach
Christian life coaches have a rewarding career that helps others achieve success and happiness. Guiding others through life and giving aid by offering sound advice are important for a Christian life coach. Christian life coaches have flexibility in hours and give advice to clients on how to reach goals, such as gaining better focus or giving support if it's needed. Many life coaches are accredited or certified.

1
Look at potential areas of coaching. Like any other professional, Christian life coaches specialize in specific areas. Areas of potential study include basic life coaching, grief coaching or counseling. Keep in mind that to be a counselor you must take counseling courses that meet state standards of education and accreditation before working with clients.
-
2
Take life coaching classes. Take classes from an accredited program, such as the Professional Christian Coaching and Counseling Academy. Accredited programs are vital to attaining clients because they prefer to work with certified or accredited coaches.

3
Complete the accredited course and gain certification. Typically, certification is given upon completion of the program. There is not a federal standard for Christian life coaching certification and it is typically given through the program upon completion of classes.
-
4
Take a basic marketing class. Not all programs will include marketing, though some programs require a marketing course along with the core courses. A marketing class for basic marketing skills is vital for a life coach. Marketing, especially at the beginning of the career, brings in clients.
