How to Reinstall a Demo Version of Quickbooks

Install a demo version of QuickBooks directly onto your computer.

QuickBooks is a financial program that allows you to track all of your business-related data, including individual customer purchases and your current sales information. Although there is a pay version available, it is possible to download a free trial version of QuickBooks. This is a smaller version of the program and only allows you to track up to 20 of your customer's purchases. However, it does not limit the number of times you are able to download the software, or place a time limit on the download, so it is possible to redownload the QuickBooks demo back onto your computer.

Instructions

1. Open your Internet browser and navigate to the QuickBooks free demo website (see Resources for link).

2. Type your email address in the provided space, then choose "Start Download." Instantly the QuickBooks trial version downloads directly to your computer.

3. Double-click the downloaded file and a prompt window appears, asking if you are sure you want to install the program. Click "Yes" and the installation wizard appears on the screen.

4. Read through and accept the license agreement, then leave the installation name and location as is. Click "Install" and the QuickBooks demo version installs directly onto the computer.
