The Nintendo Wii uses regular single and dual-layer DVDs as its gaming medium. If you are trying to back up your Wii games and have been left with the disc image file (ISO), you must now burn it to a blank DVD. This can be done with any DVD burner, including the PBDS models. All you need is a good ISO burning program like one of the three below.

  • Blank DVD
  • Express Burner
  • Imgburn
  • Nero

Instructions

      Download and install one of the ISO-burning programs from the Resource section of this article. You may choose Express Burner, Imgburn or Nero.

      Open Express Burner and click "Burner" from the top portion of the menu. Click "Write ISO to disc" and a new window will appear. Select your Wii ISO and click "OK" to burn your Wii image onto the DVD.

      Open Imgburn and click "Write image file to disc." Click the "Source" button and select your Wii ISO from the window that appears. Click the green arrow to burn the ISO to a disc.

      Open Nero and click "Data Burning" from the Nero main menu. Click the "Source" drop-down menu and click "Image File." Click the "Browse" button that appears and select your Wii ISO file. Click the "Burn" button to write the file to the disc.
