How to Sync Google Calendar Reminder Alerts With Outlook
If you use both Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, you can synchronize your calendars to display the same information and provide you with reminder alerts. You can set up your calendars to synchronize with each other, or you can transfer all the information from one calendar to the other in a one-way synchronization. Synchronizing your calendars gives you access to the information of both organizers wherever you go and helps you keep multiple schedules coordinated.

Download and install the Google Calendar Sync application from Google (see Resources). Once the installation is complete, run the Google Calendar Sync program to begin synchronization between your calendars.

Enter your Google account information into the "Email" and "Password" dialog boxes.

Select "1-Way Google Calendar to Microsoft Outlook" from the "Sync Options" if you want to view your Google Calendar information on your Microsoft Outlook calendar. Select "1-Way Microsoft Outlook to Google Calendar" to view your Outlook information on Google Calendar. Select "2-way" if you want to view both calendars in both applications.

Set the amount of time you want to pass between updates in the "Sync Every ___ Minutes" text box. Your calendars will transfer information whenever this time interval passes. The minimum interval between synchronizations is 10 minutes.

Click "Save" to save your settings. Your calendars will synchronize.

Tips & Warnings
Microsoft Outlook only supports "pop-up" reminders; any "email" and "SMS" reminders on your Google Calendar will not appear on your Microsoft Outlook calendar.
Microsoft Outlook only supports one "pop-up" reminder per event; if you have multiple reminders for the same event in Google Calendar, only one reminder will export to Microsoft Outlook.
The Google Calendar Sync application is designed for Windows XP and Vista and will only work with Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007.
