How to Update to MSN Plus

Messenger Plus! is an Internet-based programming package that comes with additional skins and displays for your Hotmail, MSN Messenger Chat and other Microsoft-based online software. Messenger Plus! is free to obtain and download and automatically updates onto your current version of Microsoft Messenger, without forcing you to perform any additional tasks.

Instructions

      Navigate to the Messenger Plus! website (see Resources).

      Click "Download Free" and the MSN Plus! software downloads directly to your computer.

    • 3

      Double-click the download file and a prompt window appears, asking if you are sure you want to install the software. Click "Yes" to launch the installation wizard.

    • 4

      Select "Next" on the MSN Plus! welcome page, then scroll through and accept the end-user agreement (you are unable to install the MSN Plus! without accepting this).

    • 5

      Click "Next" two more times, then select "Install" and MSN Plus! installs and updates your current Microsoft Internet chat functions.
