How to Remove Viruses From MSN Messenger
MSN messenger is an instant messaging program for computers running on a Windows operating system. Like other programs installed on a computer, MSN may be infected by viruses. There are many different viruses that many infect MSN. You can remove these viruses the same way that you would remove most other viruses: using an anti-virus program. Perform a full system scan with an anti-virus program. This can be any anti-virus program that is currently installed on your system. If you do not have an anti-virus program installed, find either a free or paid anti-virus program. There are many options available, both for purchase and free to download. If you would prefer to have a physical disc with the program on it, purchase an anti-virus program from a local electronics or computer goods store, otherwise, find a download for an anti-virus program. Many paid anti-virus programs have free trial periods, which will allow you to use the program for free for a set time-frame.

Follow the directions provided by your anti-virus program, if applicable. Most anti-virus programs will automatically clean infected files, though some may require action from the user.

Download the "MSN Virus Remover" tool from the "MSN Virus Removal Software" website. This tool will scan your computer specifically for MSN-related virus. If you were unable to clean your system with a normal virus scan, this tool will remove the MSN viruses currently infecting your system. To download the program, click on the "Download MSN Virus Remover" link located on the bottom-left of the "download" page. Either save this file to your computer or run it straight from the website.

Click on the "Start" button to have the "MSN Virus Remover" to scan your system. As it scans, it will automatically clean any infected files it detects. Once the scan is complete, your computer will automatically reboot.

Tips & Warnings
Before running the "MSN Virus Remover" tool, save any unsaved work. Since the program automatically reboots when it is finished scanning, you may loose and unsaved work if you do not save it beforehand.
