How to Sync NetNewsWire With Google Reader
NetNewsWire is a popular RSS feed reader designed for the Mac operating system. There are also versions of NetNewsWire available on the iPhone and iPad. One of the key features of NetNewsWire is its ability to synchronize subscriptions and other information to Google Reader, a web-based RSS feed reader offered by Google. Syncing to Google Reader allows you to easily keep your feed-reading habits updated across all of your Apple devices while also allowing for the option of online reading from any Internet-connected device through the Google Reader interface.

Launch NetNewsWire.

Select the menu option “NetNewsWire,” “Preferences.”

Select the “Syncing” tab.

Enter your Google Reader username and password to enable sync and then click “Merge Subscriptions.” NetNewsWire will now keep your reading and subscription information in sync with Google Reader.
iPhone Client

Install NetNewsWire from the iPhone App Store.

Launch NetNewsWire.

Enter your Google Reader username to enable sync.

Click “Settings” to go to the NetNewsWire reading interface.

Enter your Google Reader password when prompted to complete sync setup. NetNewsWire for iPhone will now be kept in sync with Google Reader.
