How to Install Kuryakyn ISO Grips
Kuryakyn ISO grips combine function and form. These bicycle handlebar grips replace the stock grips with a product that alleviates the "dead hand" or "tired hand" sensation bikers feel after a long ride. Installation of these grips requires few tools and a removal of the old factory grips.
Kuryakyn ISO grips are sold in a wide range of styles. Kuryakyn also manufactures accessories for their ISO grips. Accessories include colored rings, decorative endcaps and grip warmers.
Instructions

1
Cover the bike with a tarp or sheet to prevent glue from falling on it. Grip glue is hard to remove from chrome and will permanently damage it.
-
2
Unscrew the end cap from each stock grip with a pair of rubber-tipped pliers. Slide a screwdriver between the grip and the throttle. Spray a liberal amount of WD-40 inside.
-
-
3
Spray WD-40 on the throttle to remove the old glue. Remove the glue with a rag.
-
4
Remove two screws from each Kuryakyn ISO grip end cap. This will release the air in the grip. Wrap the left grip with electrical tape. Apply an even amount of grip glue stopping one inch away from the end to avoid marring the chrome.
-
5
Slide on the left grip in one swift motion. The glue will begin to harden the minute air is removed. Complete this step as swiftly as possible.
-
6
Rub sandpaper over the right grip to rough the surface. Apply tape to mark the position for the throttle quadrant. Apply the grip glue for the right grip. Slide the Kuryakyn ISO grip into place. Remove any excess glue from the chrome immediately.
-
7
Replace and adjust the screws in the end cap for a tight fit.
