How to Add a NetZero Email Account
Email is a great way to stay in touch with your friends and family, share images and more. Also, many websites require you to have an email address for registration and in order to receive updates. NetZero offers its users their own email accounts for free. NetZero also makes the process of adding your new email account easy, which means that you will be ready to start sending and receiving email in minutes.

Opening the Sign-Up Form

Go to the NetZero website and click on the "Create a New Email Address for Free" link, which is located on the left side of the page under the "Current Members" heading.

Click "Get Started." This will bring you to the form you need to fill out for an email account.

Create a NetZero Member ID, which will be your email address. Make sure it is from three to 30 characters.

Create a password using a combination of lowercase letters and numbers. It can be anywhere from three to 12 characters long.

Choose a "Secret Question" and provide your answer. This will be used to confirm your identity in the event you forget your password. Also, If you already have an existing email address, you can provide it in order for NetZero to send you information regarding your account.

Enter the words you see in the security check box.

Review NetZero's Terms and Conditions and click "I Accept" if you agree to them.

Choose an alternate Member ID if your original selection is not available.

Enter your basic personal and demographic information. All fields are required except for the questions about your annual household income and ethnic group.

Click "Next" and you will be taken to a page confirming that you have successfully signed up for a NetZero email account.

Click "Go to My Email" to begin using your account.

Tips & Warnings
Print your confirmation page and keep it in a safe place. It includes your Member ID, password and full email address in case you ever forget any of your credentials.
When choosing an email address, consider what you will be using it for. Many people have an email account that uses some form of their real name for professional purposes. It is common to have another, usually more creative, email address for personal messages.
Be sure to choose a password that is not easy to guess. Preferably use a combination of letters and numbers.
