If you are looking for a specific person, you can log on to MySpace and search using the person's name or email address. If your initial search yields too many results to sift through, you can narrow your search to the city in which your subject lives.

  • Correct spelling of a person's name

      Visit myspace.com (see Resources) and establish an account. You need to have an account before you can conduct a search.

      Click on "Friends" on the top blue banner. Scroll down to "Find Friends" in the menu.

      Type the name of the person you are searching for in the field provided. Click on the "Search" button. When the results display, you will be given the option to "Filter Results."

      Filter your results according to city by typing the name of the city into the "City, State, Zip or Country" field. Hit "Update," and your new search results will display.
