How to Make a Family Memory Book
Every family has a great memories to share, whether from a big event like a vacation, graduation or wedding, or simply to celebrate being together as a family. A family memory book is a unique way to commemorate an older family member, too. Memory books can be shared with others or just with those in the family. Memory books can showcase each family member's unique personality and sense of humor. They're also easy to make.

1
Choose an appropriately sized scrapbook or notebook for your family memory book. You may choose a school-themed scrapbook for schoolyear memories, a beach-themed notebook to document an oceanside vacation, or another pre-made scrapbook with an appropriate motif. You may also go with a hardbound notebook, which has the advantage of letting you completely customize it.
-
2
Assemble all of your memorabilia for the family memory book, including photographs, ticket stubs, programs, or other paper souvenirs, as well as a list of memorable quotes from the event. Sort your memorabilia into small piles according to whatever criteria you like in order to help organize content in your memory book. You may want to organize sections according to a single person, or place materials in chronological order, or simply create a free-form collage-style book.

3
Use glue, markers, pens, colorful paper cut into lovely designs, or other decorative materials to dress up your memory book before adding photos and memorabilia. Give each section a theme and add colors, stickers and words along that theme. Or add quotes and colorful items throughout the book. Secure each new item with a good coat of glue from your gluestick.
-
4
Add memorabilia to your book. Use photo corners on the four corners of each of your photos to secure them. Add ticket stubs, programs or other paper memories, like postcards, using your gluestick.
-
5
Allow family members to add in their own written memories to the book in available blank spaces. This final touch will transform your book from a simple collection of keepsakes and photos into a true memory book that tells the story of your family.
