How to Create & Print Invitations Online

Creating online invitations is more cost-effective than purchasing them or getting them printed.

Many websites allow you to design and print invitations online. Simply select the type of event you are hosting, choose a design, enter details about the party and print the invitation. Creating invitations online is easy and saves you the time of going out and purchasing them. Instead, you can create personalized invitations from your home at your convenience. Printing them yourself will also save you printing costs.

• Computer
• Printer
• Cardstock
• Envelopes

Instructions

1. Choose a website that you would like to work with to create your invitation, such as Invitationland, PurpleTrail or Ivy's Greeting Cards.

2. Select a category for event you are hosting, such as birthday party, bridal shower or baby shower.

3. Select a design you would like to work with in the category you chose.

4. Add your own details, including the honoree's name, the date, the time, the location and contact and RSVP information. Some websites also allow you to alter the colors and fonts.

5. Choose the "Create" or "Finished" option. Insert cardstock in the printer, preview the invite and click "Print."
