How to Uninstall California Security Suite

California Security Suite, officially known as the CA Internet Security Suite, is an anti-virus program designed to protect the computer against viruses, worms, Trojans and other harmful programs. As new anti-virus programs become available and as CA upgrades its products, you may want to delete the current version from your computer. This frees up more disk space, among other benefits. Uninstalling the software is easy.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button.

2. Click "Control Panel."

3. Click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon in Windows XP. Click "Uninstall a Program" in Vista and Windows 7.

4. Scroll down page and click on "CA Internet Security Suite."

5. Click the "Change/Remove" button on Windows XP computers. Click "Uninstall" in Vista and Windows 7.

6. Wait for program to automatically uninstall. The computer removes all applications in the suite.

7. Reboot the computer
