The nonprofit American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) was founded in 1958. Membership in AARP is available for a yearly fee. A subscription to AARP Magazine is included in the price of membership.

      Scroll down and click "Join" on left hand side of the page.

      Complete the member information. You will need to provide your name, date of birth, telephone number, mailing address and e-mail address.

      Complete your spouse information (if applicable).

    • 5

      Choose the length of your membership. You can choose a 1-, 3- or 5-year membership.

    • 6

      Enter your billing information. You will need a credit card.

    • 7

      Click "Confirm" to pay your membership fee. You will begin receiving AARP Magazine in the mail in 6 to 8 weeks.
