      REGSVR32 WUPS2.DLL

      REGSVR32 WUWEB.DLL

    Delete Files

      Type in the following commands, one by one, and hit "Enter."

      net stop WuAuServ

      cd %windir%

      ren SoftwareDistribution SD_OLD

      net start WuAuServ

      Type in "Exit" to shut down the Command Prompt.

    • 13

      Restart your PC.
