How to Play an MP3 File on the Web

MP3 files are among the most commonly used of the dozens of audio file extensions around the web, and are perhaps the most compatible with players on your computer and outside of it. You can upload and play your MP3 files on the web by using one of dozens of file uploading websites on the Internet. Once you upload your file to the website, you can produce for yourself an "embed" code to add the file to your webpage.

Instructions

1. Open a file uploading website on your Web browser, and select "Browse" on the homepage of the site.

2. Click your MP3 file in he pop-up menu and click "Open."

3. Click "Upload File" on the next page and allow a few minutes for the website to upload your MP3 file.

4. Copy the "Embed" code and paste this code onto your website to play the MP3 file on the Web for visitors to the site.
