How to Get Free Member Stuff in Runescape
Receiving free member items may save you many hours of working on skills or killing monsters to acquire the same items. However, finding free member items is quite difficult. Member items are items which only paying members of Runescape are able to use. These items are usually significantly better than "free player" items. There are only two methods to receive free member items on Runescape. One method is through the party room in the city of Falador, and the other method is through completing quests.

Travel to the party room in the city of Falador. Click on your mini-map if you are having trouble finding the party room.

Left-click to pop the balloons that fall on the ground in the party room. Occasionally the balloons contain member items.

Change worlds after the balloons have been dropped and wait for the balloons to drop again in the new world.
Complete Missions

Travel to a member city such East Ardougne, Seers' Village or Catherby. Look for a yellow exclamation point on your map. Right-click to talk to the character and he should ask you to complete a task.

Complete the task. If you are having trouble with the quest, use Runescape's official Quest Help on their website (see Resources).

Travel back to the individual and right-click to finish the quest and to receive a free member item.
