Go to the Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services page and click "Run Now."

Click "Run" when asked to either run or save the file. Wait for the file to download, then click "Run" once again.

Follow the instructions on the Automated Troubleshooting Services wizard, then select "Detect problems and apply the fixes for me." The wizard will then find and fix the problems for you.

Start Internet Explorer, then click "Tools" and select "Internet Options."

Click on the "Advanced" tab in the Internet Options window, then click "Reset..." to reset Internet Explorer 7 to its default settings.
