How to Disable Smart Quotes in Word 2007

Word 2007 has a variety of proofing options. One such proofing tool, called AutoCorrect, corrects words, characters and numbers as you type. For example, if you mistype the word "the" as "teh," Word corrects it for you. AutoCorrect also changes straight quote marks to smart quote marks, or curled quote marks, by default. If you want to disable smart quotes, you can quickly do so.
