How to Remove a Bank Account From PayPal to Avoid Chargeback

You can fund your PayPal account with a transfer from your bank account. In addition, you can link your bank account to your PayPal account and allow it to cover purchases you make with your PayPal debit card. If your PayPal card is low on funds, your bank account can serve as your backup funding method and your purchase will still go through. But if you wish to remove a bank account from PayPal, the procedure is simple.

Instructions

1. Go to PayPal.com.

2. Enter your email address and password on the left-hand side of the page and click "Login."

3. Go to the Profile tab and click "Add or Edit Bank Account." Click "Remove" under the relevant bank account. Your bank account is now removed from your PayPal account.
