Download the "Tab Killer" add-on from the Mozilla website if you are using Firefox. There is no disable feature within the Firefox browser, which means you have to install the add-on to disable the tabs. When you download the add-on, Firefox will ask if you want to install it. Confirm that you do and it will auto-install. Restart Firefox to browse with no tabs.
