How to Correct Experian

How to Correct Experian thumbnail
Contact Experian online to dispute your credit report.

Mistakes on your Experian credit report can lower your credit score and make it more difficult to get loans. The three main credit bureaus, Trans Union, Equifax and Experian may have the same false information. Correcting your Experian report will not automatically correct the others--you need to deal with each bureau separately. Experian facilitates the process by allowing you to obtain a credit report and dispute errors online.
